Job Description:

  • Prepare the monthly supply request for OPD SAM.
  • Officially receive the supplied materials related to OPD MAM, including proper registration.
  • Properly manage and store the supplied materials related to OPD MAM (TSFP) and record the distributed materials in the relevant register and stock cards.
  • Register the necessary patient information in the register and ration cards.
  • Distribute Super Cereal and RUSF to children suffering from moderate acute malnutrition and to pregnant and lactating women according to the IMAM protocol.
  • Prepare essential messages for the proper use of Super Cereal and RUSF for children with moderate acute malnutrition and pregnant/lactating women.
  • Prepare the monthly stock report for the OPD-MAM program.
  • Effectively manage OPD-MAM and OPD-SAM services during high workload situations.
  • Screen children under five years old (in BHC and, if available, in SHC with a TSFP Assistant).
  • Manage and perform all OPD-MAM and OPD-SAM services (in BHC and, if available, in SHC with a TSFP Assistant).
  • TSFP Assistant must be a female nurse.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate in Nursing or Midwifery.
  • At least one year of work experience in the relevant field.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in Pashto, Dari, and other local languages.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possessing ethical qualities such as patience, compassion, caution, and adherence to Islamic principles.
  • Good communication skills.
