Job Description:
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Participate in all AQBE-related training activities.
- Prepare and regularly follow up on the training plan.
- Deliver training programs and Training of Trainers (ToTs) at the provincial, district, and community levels for education officers, community mobilizers, SMS members, and teachers.
- Utilize group processes, facilitation techniques, and role-play methods during training sessions.
- Follow AQBE PMU's curriculum, ensuring fidelity to the provided directions, training, and materials.
- Document “lessons learned” and suggest improvements for future training sessions.
- Prepare reports on progress, challenges, and key findings after each training session, and ensure best practices are adopted in future sessions.
- Collaborate with the provincial coordinator/education manager for effective planning and implementation of activities based on the approved work plan and assessment findings.
- Prepare training and evaluation reports and coordinate with relevant departments (PED, DED, IRC) as needed.
- Review the quality of training materials (handouts, trainer guides, banners, posters), methodologies, agendas, and overall training preparations for AQBE team-led sessions.
- Undertake any other tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, or a relevant field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in master training, preferably with an international organization or local NGOs.
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in Pashto and Dari, with a strong understanding of and ability to write in English.
Other Skills:
- Knowledge of the importance of education in Islam, child development, and the current trends in education in Afghanistan.
