Job Description:

  • Participate in training sessions provided by HNTPO, which will guide the adaptation of the life-skills training manual.
  • Deliver life-skills training to trainees.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of the training to ensure that trainees have acquired the necessary skills.
  • Facilitate life-skills training and capacity-building activities for the trainees.
  • Encourage peer-to-peer support to help trainees develop their skills.
  • Conduct assessments of trainees’ capacity and training needs.
  • Collaborate with other WFHS staff to develop additional materials and resources that will boost the confidence and skills of the project beneficiaries.
  • Create monitoring tools and guidelines to track the trainees' learning progress in mastering the specified skills.
  • Ensure the integration of life-skills training with financial literacy, numeracy sessions, and gender transformative trainings.
  • Review and discuss training progress with project staff on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Keep detailed records and reports of training sessions, including daily participant attendance, notable achievements, and any challenges faced.
  • Submit accurate monthly and quarterly work plans and reports related to life-skills training to the project officer.
  • Coordinate with the logistics and finance teams for all logistical and financial matters related to the life-skills training sessions.

Job Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience as a life-skills trainer.
  • Local knowledge and experience in staff management are advantages.
  • Computer skills are preferred (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent spoken and written skills in Dari and Pashto.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Good documentation abilities.
  • Experience with digital devices like computers.
