Job Description:
- Provide care for newborn infants until they are ready to go home.
- Offer prenatal care for high-risk infants.
- Assist in premature or complicated deliveries, and provide immediate medical attention if needed after birth.
- Ensure infants receive proper nutrition to promote optimal growth and development, and find alternative feeding methods for those struggling to feed.
- Help administer medications and treat infants born with infections.
- Perform procedures on infants with respiratory issues due to underdeveloped or damaged hearts and lungs.
- Offer support to parents, helping them understand and make decisions regarding their infant's condition and treatment.
- Ensure parents have ample opportunities to bond with their infants.
- Collaborate in accurately collecting health information using established guidelines and forms.
- Support the implementation and adherence to new standards.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited medical school with a certification in pediatric and newborn care.
- Proven experience as a Neonatologist or in a similar role.
- Willingness to work long hours and be on-call for emergencies.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage stress.
- Strong communication skills, along with patience and empathy toward patients and their families.
- Strong commitment to helping newborn infants.
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Neonatologist.
