Job Description:

  • Provide care for newborn infants until they are ready to go home.
  • Offer prenatal care for high-risk infants.
  • Assist in premature or complicated deliveries, and provide immediate medical attention if needed after birth.
  • Ensure infants receive proper nutrition to promote optimal growth and development, and find alternative feeding methods for those struggling to feed.
  • Help administer medications and treat infants born with infections.
  • Perform procedures on infants with respiratory issues due to underdeveloped or damaged hearts and lungs.
  • Offer support to parents, helping them understand and make decisions regarding their infant's condition and treatment.
  • Ensure parents have ample opportunities to bond with their infants.
  • Collaborate in accurately collecting health information using established guidelines and forms.
  • Support the implementation and adherence to new standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited medical school with a certification in pediatric and newborn care.
  • Proven experience as a Neonatologist or in a similar role.
  • Willingness to work long hours and be on-call for emergencies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage stress.
  • Strong communication skills, along with patience and empathy toward patients and their families.
  • Strong commitment to helping newborn infants.
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Neonatologist.
