Job Description:

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Maintain proper behavior and conduct with clinic staff and visitors, respecting the culture and traditions of the community and adhering to them.

- Implement and apply new development programs.

- Be committed to responsibilities and follow established regulations.

- Participate in training sessions and transfer the knowledge gained to other health center staff according to the internal training plan.

- Supervise the activities of community health workers and all health activities within the community.

- Assist in training sessions and strengthen communication between community health workers and health committees.

- Strengthen and expand cooperation between the community and the health center.

- Be responsible for identifying and addressing community health issues.

- Provide health education to the community under coverage.

- Review and assess the performance of community health workers.

- Identify training needs for community health workers.

- Provide refresher training for community health workers.

- Provide leadership training for community health committees.

- Assist in updating the community health maps and health center health posts.

- Help develop health plans at the health center, health committee, and community level.

- Implement, supervise, and evaluate health program activities in the covered areas of the health center.

- Report and address urgent issues in service delivery to the community.

- Guide and support community health workers in developing and implementing their work plans.

- Prepare monthly supervision plans for community health workers and share them with the health center supervisor.

- Ensure regular replenishment of community health workers' materials and timely replacement of supplies as needed.

- Encourage teamwork among Community Health Workers (CHWs), especially when they are working in the target communities.

- Regularly report on community health workers’ activities to the health center.

- Mobilize the community to participate in health issues and programs.

- Raise awareness in the community about health activities at health posts and the health center.

- Supervise the quality of registration records, patient charts, and community maps, and provide technical support to community health workers.

- Complete monthly reports from health posts within the covered areas.

- Assist the health center supervisor in consolidating reports and using graphs to assess health programs at the health center.

- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of other activities (e.g., community health workers’ medication usage reports, tuberculosis reports, urgent cases).

- Assist in any necessary surveys.

- Form health committees (Health Committees) within the community.

- Raise awareness within health committees about BPHS and related health topics.

- Collect feedback on the health center’s service delivery from the community and the satisfaction of patients.

- Strengthen the referral system between the community, health posts, and health centers.

- Perform tasks assigned by the clinic supervisor.

- Actively participate in implementing new standards to improve quality.

 

Job Requirements:

 

- Education: Diploma in Nursing, Pharmacy, or a Bachelor's in Public Health.

- Experience:  At least one year of relevant working experience.

- Skills:  Strong communication skills in Dari and demonstrated management ability.

- Languages:  Fluency in Dari (both written and spoken) is required.

-General:Pr eference for local residents of Bamiyan province, especially from the covered health areas, or those willing to stay in Bamiyan for an extended period.
