Job Description:
Enumerators will be responsible for accurate and efficient Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) data collection in Herat. Data collection will be conducted via the online ONA platform. The specific duties include:
- Applying knowledge gained during the orientation session to perform data collection and submit daily reports.
- Ensuring all tools and materials required for data collection are available and suitable.
- Introducing themselves professionally, explaining their role and the organization they represent, to encourage active participation from respondents.
- Seeking permission from respondents (e.g., CDC members, program participants, or government officials) to conduct interviews.
- Conducting interviews by clearly asking questions as written and probing to clarify responses when necessary.
- Accurately recording and reviewing responses, ensuring questionnaires are complete and error-free before submission.
- Compiling, coding, and uploading information into the predefined COBO system.
- Representing MCA and the project in local languages when interacting with stakeholders.
- Reporting progress on a daily basis.
- Performing other project-related tasks assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements:
- A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in data collection, including administering questionnaires and conducting interviews.
- Familiarity with mobile data collection tools such as Open Data Kit (ODK) on phones and tablets.
