Job Description:

- Conduct patient assessments, carefully documenting history, issues, goals (both short and long-term), and treatment plans.

- Provide appropriate treatments and follow-ups, including patient education, exercises, mobilization, and physical therapies like electrotherapy.

- Deliver in-patient care and join ward rounds when necessary.

- Refer patients to specialized services, such as orthopedics, as required.

- Recommend and fit patients with walking aids and wheelchairs as appropriate.

- Use physiotherapy equipment safely and maintain cleanliness.

- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and adhere to administrative standards for time-keeping, report writing, and document preparation.

- Conduct home visits or participate in outreach programs as needed.

- Work collaboratively with other medical staff in the best interest of patients.

- Educate doctors, healthcare workers, and communities about the benefits of physiotherapy.

- Train families and community health workers in basic exercises as needed.

- Supervise PTAs in patient care and follow-up.

- Prepare monthly statistical reports.

Job Requirements:

- Afghan national.

- Graduate from an accredited physiotherapy program.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Proficiency in written and spoken English.

- Fluency in Pashto and Dari.

- Prior work experience is preferred.
