Job Description:
Project (Field) Monitors are required to conduct field visits according to the approved plan provided by the M&E officer or project supervisor.
- They must have a comprehensive understanding of the project's duration, resource allocation, type of assistance, ration scale, and criteria for beneficiary selection.
- The monitor is responsible for verifying beneficiaries through their identification documents before they receive food or cash.
- They should implement immediate corrective actions to address any field issues and report these to the M&E officer or project supervisor.
- The project monitor must utilize the M&E toolkit for documenting and reporting on project activities in the field.
- They must ensure that armed individuals are not permitted to enter distribution points.
- Ongoing consultation with the project supervisor and TPM staff regarding field challenges is essential.
- Project monitors must ensure that no cash or food is taken back from beneficiaries at distribution points.
- They may also perform other duties assigned by the project supervisor or project MEAL officer.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Law.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a similar position with NGOs or INGOs.
- Fluency in spoken Pashto and Dari is required, along with a strong command of written and spoken English.
