Job Description:

The helpdesk staff must be present at their desk full-time during distribution events. The focal point is responsible for reporting or documenting any households (HHs) that are excluded and have approached the distribution point, using the logbook or beneficiary appeal form. Project supervisors and managers must communicate any critical issues or information recorded by the helpdesk to the donor on a daily basis.

The focal point should prioritize aged, disabled, pregnant, or lactating beneficiaries when distributing food or cash. They are also responsible for registering and reporting vulnerable HHs who are not on the list and referring them to the project supervisor for verification and assistance. The helpdesk is tasked with addressing any questions or inquiries raised by beneficiaries. Additionally, the staff may be assigned other tasks by the District Supervisor or Project Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Completion of 12th grade; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a similar position with NGOs or INGOs.
  • Fluency in spoken Pashto and Dari is required, along with excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
