Job Description:
I-GENERAL Responsibilities:
Scope of work: The Capacity building Officer is responsible to organize and facilitate quality cascading of the skills and knowledge transfer activities in central and provincial level.
GENERAL RESPOSEBILIITIES
Act according to the policy of CAF.
Keep confidential with issues related to CAF.
Develop Spirit of co-operation and understanding among members of the team.
Work with co-operative attitude and keep a high standard of quality.
Specific responsabilités
Prepare the annual skills and knowledge transfers plan.
Ensure the cascading activities are done in the widest manner to include all health facilities and as many staff as possible during the year (instead of the same few health workers attending many cascading activities)
Attend in all TOTs related to Capacity building by MoPH and other organizations both in provincial and central level.
Active participation in drafting and providing training action plans for staff of the HFs in different categories
Visit the provincial offices and health facilities on a regular basis to identity staff needs; provide on-the-job TA at the health facility level as able to do so.
Supervise and monitor all capacity building programs including the training courses which will be conducted by in CAF HO.
Coordinate the capacity building program with CAF central and provincial staff and MoPH.
Assist organizational development director in writing the proposals and MoUS in terms of staff capacity development issues.
Participate in the designing, developing and revising of different training curriculum.
Organize training for different category staff of HFs based on TNA.
Establish post training follow up system for all conducted trainings in HQ level.
Prepare compile and submit the training activities report to Technical Director on regular bases
Active participation in working groups and task force committees in central level related to capacity development activities.
Follow CAF's established policies, procedures and objectives; continuous quality improvement initiative works/ performance.
Maintain proper records of the capacity building/training documents.
Do whatever related job is delegated by the Technical Director
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATION AND REQIREMENTS:
Degree of Medical Doctor from accepted medical institutes
Required knowledge about NUTRITION/ EPI and BPHS, policies and strategies.
Required Knowledge and experience in Health projects (BPHS/EPHS...)
Strong communication skills.
Excellent conflict management and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to perform multiple task simultaneously.
Ability to travel extensively within Afghanistan as well as abroad
SKILLS:
Excellent knowledge of English language and computer (verbal and written)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proactive approach to solving issues.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure
