Position Description:
Intern is responsible to assist Senior Procurement Specialist in all Procurement and procurement administrative activities.
Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assist Senior Procurement Specialist in keeping accurate accounts of all procurement processes and ensuring that all procurement is done according to World Bank procurement regulation.
Assist procurement staff in Preparation and Periodic updating of the procurement plans.
Assist in procurement administration in follow up of payment, contracts and any documents of procurement under process to other sections and departments.
Assist Senior Procurement Specialist in Preparation of RFQs, (Request for quotations) bid documents for works, goods and non-consultancy services and RFPs (Request for proposals) for consultancy assignments.
Assist Senior Procurement Specialist in Progress monitoring of all procurement process and follow up on the procurement process till completion.
Assist procurement in updating procurement document in database as required.
Assist procurement in filling and daily administrative issue, with other section and stakeholder.
Keep close coordination between within Unit and other departments and adherence to the ethical practices.
The intern will acquire an understanding of relevant policy and procedures.
The HR team will have monthly meetings with interns and his/her supervisor to discuss on his/her Personal Development Plan.
The holder of this position must strictly follow the organization existing security policies, procedures and daily instructions of the safety personnel.
Any other relevant responsibility and task shall be assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
Education/ Qualification and Employment Benefits
Education: Fresh University Graduated (Bachelor in Business and Administration)
Experience: No Need.
Other qualifications’ an advantage: Use of Computer (Ms-Office Package).
Languages: Dari/ Pashto and English
