Position Description:
Intern is responsible to assist Finance Department in all administrative activities, particularly tasks related to WERP projects.
Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:
Explanation of the very basics of Accounting and finance.
Understanding of all types of vouchers and practical work on their preparation.
Understanding of SUN System accounting software executing data entry with simple transactions into SUN System.
Reconciliation of cash/bank accounts with SUN System.
Understanding of different types of Cheques and learning the process of wire transfer.
Understanding Bank statements and its reconciliation with bank book.
Understanding of Personnel advances, deductions and clearance procedures.
Understanding of preparing adjusting entries and recalls of vouchers for correction.
Understanding Govt. Income Tax Law and its application for Tax calculation of Salaries, rent, and suppliers/contractors and their journal entries.
The Intern will prepare a Personal Development Plan in the beginning of his/her joining and the supervisor will work closely with him/her to achieve the objectives.
The HR team will have monthly meetings with interns and his/her supervisor to discuss on his/her Personal Development Plan.
The intern will acquire an understanding of relevant policy and procedures of DACAAR.
After completion of internship period, the Intern will have a clear picture of all activities in the unit/department, their process, and will be able to achieve tasks according to the above job descriptions in a professional way.
Assisting finance staff in scanning and proper managing the filling system.
Assisting finance staff in providing the vouchers and other financial documents to internal and external auditors.
Proper on job training by supervisor for cross checking of vouchers.
The holder of this position must strictly follow the organization existing security policies, procedures and daily instructions of the safety personnel.
Any other relevant responsibility and task shall be assigned by the supervisor.

Education/ Qualification and Employment Benefits
Education: Fresh University Graduated (Bachelor in Business and Administration)
Experience: No Need.
Other qualifications’ an advantage: Use of Computer (Ms-Office Package).
Languages: Dari/ Pashto and English
