Job Description:
THE POSITION & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Pharmacy Officer is responsible for overall management of the Pharmacy activities of RMNCAH project of CAF in Samangan and Logar (Pharmacy Stock, Warehouse, FHHs medicine supplies, stock cards, consumption report, database of medicine and medical supplies in the PO and FHHs level, medicine quantification training and other related trainings related to pharmacy field, ensuring buffer stock in FHHs level, request for medicine, medical supplies, ensuring MWs capacity are developed in medicine field to the extent possible ), supervision and supportive supervision of FHHs MWs, ensuring RCW 50s are functional and supplied with gas supply to operate. Ensure supply of vaccine to FHHs, verify data received form FHHs level related to EPI, ensure the target is reached on immunization. Ensure proper and timely distribution of vaccines and maintenance of vaccines in the optimal temperature.
Detailed responsibility of Pharmacy officer:
Establish well organized pharmacy Stock/ Warehouse in FHHs level and PO level
Ensure timely medicine supplies
Maintain stock cards and database of medicine and medical supplies in PO level.
Maintain stock cards and database of medicine and medical supplies in FHHs level.
Prepare consumption report of medicine and medical supplies as per format shared with Funding agency.
Cascading medicine quantification training and other related trainings related to pharmacy field in FHHs and team.
Ensuring buffer stock availability in FHHs level.
Request for medicine and medical supplies
Ensuring MWs capacity are developed in medicine field to the extent possible by introducing available in FHHs via weekly tele supportive supervision.

Check and verify data received form FHHs level related to EPI.
Ensure the target is reached on immunization.

Maintain standard and appropriate storage of the medicine in pharmacy stock.
Maintain a computerized data base of essential drugs in the CAF Pharmacy Stock.
Maintain proper records of the Pharmacy Stock.
Assist the Logistic Department in procurement of medical equipment and supplies.
Job Requirements:
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Graduated from recognized medical science institution
At least 3 years of experience in related field.
Experience in training, facilitation, and/or program support.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Have skill of English
Skills of MS-Office, specifically MS-Excel and Power point is a must.
