Job Description:
Prepare and cook food in the particular section, for effective provision of catering services.
Ensure that food is cooked as per the recipes for consistency in order to uphold the quality standards of the departments.
Serve food on time to meet the quality objective of the department.
Clear all leftovers after services.
Effectively supervise kitchen staff in the area
Responsible for production of quality meals in particular section to meet the overall quality objectives of the department.
Ensure that all ingredients of the menu are in place for effective provision of service.
Report faulty equipment to Admin dept, for effective functioning of the department.
Ensure that all food prepared in this section is served on time for optimum patient satisfaction
Ensure strict compliance to Infection prevention guidelines
Ensure use of clean uniforms at all times
Ensure you undergo medical checkup every six months for food handler's certificate.
Perform night duty based on the prepared schedule by Admin department.
Perform any other duties assigned from time to time by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Certificate in food production from a reputable institution
Work experience:-3 years in hospital or busy catering establishment
Management Of Food Safety Based On HACCP (Hazard Analysis And Critical Control Points
Knowledge Of Receipts In Food Production
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and can take initiative
Flexible team player
