Job Description:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Providing nursing care to the patients as required;

Filling antenatal (ANC) cards and growth charts according to performed examinations;

Assisting in registration of patients in a certain register book;

Monitoring the vital signs of all patients;

Identifying any patient with a danger sign and does prompt help or report to responsible doctor;

In absence of MD doctor, diagnosing and treating patients according to level of training received and his/her experience;

Ensuring all in-patients receive adequate food;

Ensuring all in-patients take their prescribed medications appropriately;

Maintaining all in-patients’ documents;

Managing DOTs in the Hospital;

Keeping all equipment clean and in good-working order;

Providing Infection Prevention Process inside Hospital;

Maintaining the hygiene of the hospital and in-patients;

Maintaining a useful record of the minor surgeries, injections, dressings etc.;

Providing a monthly activity report, and

Performing any other required project-related tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Graduated from nursing-school or attended equivalent training courses;

At least 2-years’ work experience in related field;

Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

Computer literacy and good knowledge of commonly used softwares;

Fluent in Pashtu and Dari, also able to read and write in English language, and

Able to interact successfully with patients
