About Us

HADAAF is a national NGO established in April 2006 and registered with the Ministry of Economy under registration No. 514. It operates in the sectors of Health, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Nutrition, Livelihood, and Child Protection, with a primary focus on the health and nutrition sector since 2007. HADAAF has extensive experience implementing the Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) and other health-related projects, both long- and short-term. From 2007 to 2011, HADAAF implemented BPHS in Nuristan and Zabul provinces in partnership with IMC, and from 2013 to 2019 in collaboration with Cordaid.  

 

The organization has also carried out long-term health support initiatives, including community-based healthcare (CBHC), public-private partnerships (PPP), nutrition programs, integrated WASH and nutrition projects, malaria and TB control, and capacity building for health staff in Urozgan, Nuristan, and Kunar provinces. Currently, HADAAF is running various health projects across multiple provinces such as Nangarhar, Balkh, Khost, Paktia, Ghazni, and Helmand. These include Mobile Health Teams, Mobile Health and Nutrition Teams, Fixed Primary Health Care (PHC), Community-Based Nutrition Programs (CBNP), Child-Women Iron and Folic Acid Supplementation (C-WIFS), Micronutrient Powder (MNP) distribution, and COVID-19 response support.
