Job Description:

I-GENERAL Responsibilities:

The overall scope of work for ENT Specialist is providing ENT specialization services in Logar Naib Aminullah Khan Provincial Hospital in line with the Sehatmandi project & EPHS/MoPH standards and procedures. II-SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Implementation and follow-up the CAF, EPHS & MoPH policies and procedures.

Do OPD consultations for patients according to MoPH, CAF guideline, standard protocols MoPH EPHS policies, and CAF given Job Description.

ENT specialist is responsible for focusing on the ears treat hearing disorders, infections, balance disorders, nerve pain, ear noise (tinnitus), and cranial nerve disorders.

ENT specialists of the nose deal with patients suffering from chronic sinusitis.

Treat diseases of the larynx, esophagus, and upper aero-digestive tract, including swallowing and voice disorders.

ENT specialists treating problems in the head and neck regions deal with tumours, infectious diseases, deformities, and facial trauma.

Take accurate history, perform examinations and diagnosis and ensure the procedures according to the motioned policies, standard protocols and guidelines through the entire ward.

Prescribe appropriate treatments according to MoPH guidelines and medical text books and provide health education targeted on the patient’s diseases accordingly to above mentioned rules.

Active participation in the morning report, Internal seminars & Night duties

Provision of monthly HMIS report

Prepare monthly action plane and daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties.

Ability to follow established departmental procedures.

Ability to work efficiently and cope with emergency situations.

Observes all safety policies and protocols for patient protection.

Using PPE kit while examining COVID-19 patients.

Perform other tasks as per his monthly action plan, job description and direction of his/her line manager.
