Job Description:
- Develop monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools and components of the Health and Nutrition project log-frame.
- Create baseline and end-line survey tools, data tracking checklists, and assessment tools for pre- and post-training evaluations with technical field staff.
- Conduct regular field monitoring, visual observations, and manage field staff to ensure consistency in data collection.
- Perform spot checks on various program activities, particularly focusing on commodity handling, distribution, and compliance.
- Collect qualitative data, success stories, and impact examples to highlight program outcomes for beneficiaries, stakeholders, and donors.
- Assist in cleaning, translating, and analyzing data for evaluative reporting.
- Actively participate in revising log-frames and summarizing target achievements in reports.
- Coordinate and facilitate quarterly monitoring sessions for program management, providing regular updates on progress and indicator achievements.
- Complete ongoing data collection per the M&E Plan and data tool methodologies.
- Train field staff on data collection and reporting formats to ensure sufficient data is collected for semi-annual and annual reports.
- Maintain proper filing and data storage for M&E documents.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the line supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from a Medical University.
- At least 2 years of experience in M&E and reporting.
- Proficiency in English and technical reporting.
- Familiarity with Afghan community cultures.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Managerial, monitoring, and supervisory capabilities.
- Training and facilitation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in local languages and English.
