Job Description:

  • Regular presence in the work area.
  • Implementation of vaccination and registration according to established standards.
  • Preparation of a monthly work plan.
  • Proper arrangement of vaccines in refrigerators, adhering to cold chain conditions.
  • Continuous protection of all equipment and available resources.
  • Providing health education to clients for at least 10 minutes before starting the vaccination session and during vaccination for each individual.
  • Posting promotional posters and materials sent to vaccination centers and writing designated health slogans in the workplace.
  • Encouraging and mobilizing the community to participate in vaccination programs.
  • Participation in creating village councils, identifying regional issues through them, finding appropriate solutions, explaining the outreach system, providing information on vaccinated individuals, and gathering feedback for improving program implementation.
  • Efforts to increase vaccination coverage and reduce dropouts.
  • Strict adherence to hygiene conditions during vaccination.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly reports through the regional health section supervisor.
  • Implementing supplementary vaccination programs (EPI+).
  • Striving to improve performance by minimizing waste and reducing dropouts in the work area.
  • Conducting outreach vaccination in designated areas at the specified time.
  • Adhering to cold chain conditions during outreach vaccination in target areas.
  • Readiness to participate in health training courses.
  • Full coordination with other health sectors in the work area and establishing a referral system for patients to the clinic doctor.
  • Addressing deficiencies identified by the supervisor and striving to resolve them.
  • Participation in nationwide vaccination campaigns.
  • Awareness of diseases targeted by advanced immunization programs.
  • Efforts to create a friendly environment among health workers, clients, and the community.
  • Active and regular participation in clinic meetings.
  • Consistent presence at the workplace.
  • Strict adherence to organizational rules and regulations.
  • Observance of Islamic, ethical, and social principles.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduated from a recognized school/institute/program.
  • Participation in EPI courses from a recognized institution is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel and reside in difficult and remote areas.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Dari and Pashto, or at least the local language of the assigned area.
  • Cultural flexibility and respect for multicultural environments.
  • Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication with staff and clients.
