Job Summary
The Monitoring and Supervision Officer is tasked with conducting assessments of MISFA's microfinance and ultra-poor program partners, under the guidance of the Manager of the Monitoring and Supervision Department (MSD).

This role involves reporting directly to the Manager of the Monitoring and Supervision Department.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Monitoring and Supervision Officer will be responsible for the following tasks, among others:

• Conduct annual gap assessments and follow-ups, which include implementing MISFA performance standards, performing desk analyses, conducting interviews, reviewing external and internal audit and monitoring reports, analyzing portfolio reports, visiting clients, and evaluating the finance and administration units of partner institutions.
• Prepare and submit reports on completed tasks.
• Carry out branch assessments for microfinance partners and compile corresponding reports.
• Perform field reviews for ultra-poor program partners and submit detailed review reports.
• Analyze Monthly Performance Reports (MPRs) submitted by partners.
• Compile and prepare consolidated MPRs and SME reports from partners.
• Be available for local travel as needed.

Job Requirements
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, Islamic banking, or a related field, or an equivalent certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in microfinance, banking, auditing, or monitoring.
• Prior experience in Islamic financing is preferred.
• Knowledge of monitoring practices, auditing, internal controls, financial accounting, and analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing abilities.
• Critical thinking skills.
