Job Description:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the project's scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Manage all project resources, including materials and personnel under supervision.
- Develop detailed project plans covering resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
- Coordinate and allocate resources such as staff, equipment, and tools.
- Ensure team members have the necessary skills and resources to accomplish tasks.
- Work with the Finance department to prepare and oversee the project budget.
- Collaborate with the M&E Department to analyze project progress, conduct variance analysis, and determine if the project is within budget, taking corrective action when needed.
- Track expenditures to ensure the project remains within financial limits.
- Collaborate with the M&E Department to monitor project timelines and address any schedule deviations.
- Develop and update project schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- Identify potential project risks and create strategies to mitigate them, adjusting plans as necessary throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, providing project updates and managing expectations.
- Lead and inspire project team members, fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts, and providing support to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor deliverable quality to meet standards and comply with regulations, making necessary adjustments.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, including plans, reports, and logs, and provide final project reports and lessons learned upon completion.
- Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with approved plans, making adjustments to keep the project on track.
- Ensure project objectives are met and deliverables are completed successfully.
- Coordinate with relevant government authorities on project-related issues.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including donors, ACHRO headquarters, local government, and others.
- Represent ACHRO at cluster coordination meetings in Kabul and target provinces.
- Update ACHRO management on project progress through monthly, quarterly, and final reports.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and suggest areas for improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, development studies, or public relations. A master’s degree and PMP certification are advantageous.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working with internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, or returnees.
