Job Description:
Job Purpose:
The MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Data Entry Assistant is responsible for supporting the department with data entry tasks. Additionally, this role will assist the MEAL team with various administrative duties.
Main Responsibilities:
IMC Policies, Guidelines, and Procedures:
- Actively promote the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) standards within IMC and among its beneficiaries.
- Help foster a positive image and enhance the overall credibility of the organization by adhering to the Code of Conduct, ethics, values, and positions concerning both internal and external stakeholders.
Data Entry & Management:
- Review all surveys to identify any missing data.
- Conduct data entry for patient satisfaction surveys, post-distribution monitoring, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) monitoring, and perform data cleaning for surveys.
- Maintain records of assessments and surveys.
- Review data to identify discrepancies and correct any issues.
MEAL Administrative Support:
- Assist with data collection as needed.
- Help with the translation of reports and data.
- Provide support with logistics and administration for MEAL workshops, training sessions, surveys, and assessments.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
Essential:
- A university degree in Social Science, Management, or Computer Science is preferred.
Experience:
Essential:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data entry and monitoring and evaluation.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working with an international humanitarian organization is highly preferred.
Competencies:
- Understand the fundamental concepts of monitoring and evaluation and the objectives of MEAL.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong personal and organizational skills, including time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in the mission's language (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Strong communication skills.
- Good understanding of the local context and language.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Typing speed and accuracy.
