Summary of Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting research and surveys in line with the project’s methodology within Kabul province and its districts. You will work closely with the Program's Monitoring and Evaluation Supervisor and the project’s field staff to ensure the surveys are effective and insightful.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend training sessions focused on survey methodologies and how to use questionnaires effectively.
- Test the questionnaire in the field and provide constructive feedback to help improve it.
- Gather information in Khost province and its districts according to the project's survey methods, working closely with field staff.
- Support the Monitoring and Evaluation team in analyzing the collected data to ensure it is accurate and complete.
- Review the gathered information to check for correctness, relevance, and thoroughness.
- Organize the collected data and submit it to the group leader promptly.
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Monitoring and Evaluation team that relate to this position.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Follow CARE’s Safeguarding Policy and adhere to the Safeguarding Code of Conduct.
- Familiarize yourself with the Safeguarding Policy and sign the appropriate Code of Conduct.

Skills:
- Strong training and presentation abilities.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in national languages.
Languages:
- Proficient in reading and writing Pashto and Dari.

- A genuine interest in the work, a non-discriminatory approach, punctuality, and the willingness to travel to rural and remote areas.
Working Conditions:
- Your main office will be in Khost province, with frequent trips to designated areas for surveys and discussions with target groups.
Travel Requirement:
- Expect to spend 95% of your work time in the field.
