Job Title: Finance Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations in Afghanistan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and reporting, with an ability to navigate the unique challenges of the Afghan market.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals.

Prepare annual budgets and forecasts; monitor performance against budgets.

Accounting & Reporting:

Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with local regulations and international standards.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to senior management and stakeholders.

Cash Flow Management:

Monitor cash flow and ensure the availability of funds as needed.

Manage banking relationships and financing arrangements.

Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Identify and manage financial risks, including currency and credit risks.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting professional development.

Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.

Strong knowledge of local financial regulations and accounting standards.

Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Proficient in financial software (Quick books) and Microsoft Excel.

Minimum of 3 to5 years of experience in finance management, preferably in Afghanistan or similar markets.
