International Medical Corps
About Us

International Medical Corps is a worldwide humanitarian nonprofit organization committed to saving lives and alleviating suffering through healthcare training, relief, and development initiatives.

Founded in 1984 by a group of volunteer doctors and nurses, International Medical Corps operates as a private, voluntary, non-political, and non-sectarian entity. Its mission focuses on enhancing the quality of life through health interventions and related efforts that strengthen local capabilities globally. By providing training and healthcare to local communities and offering medical assistance to vulnerable populations, along with the ability to quickly respond to emergencies, International Medical Corps works to restore and support healthcare systems that have been severely impacted, ultimately fostering their self-sufficiency.
