CDRO is an Afghan-owned, non-profit organization led by professionals. It is overseen by a highly qualified board and management team, with significant experience in human rights, especially the promotion of women's and children's rights. Around 90% of the board and management team members hold master’s degrees from respected national and international institutions. Some board members and technical advisors have degrees in conflict resolution, coexistence, and sustainable international development from prominent U.S. universities. The CDRO team brings decades of experience working in conflict zones and humanitarian emergencies. CDRO is a member of ACBAR in Afghanistan and is registered with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
