About Us

The Women Activities & Social Service Association (WASSA), founded in 2002 in Afghanistan, is a non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing women's empowerment in the country. WASSA's goal is to foster equal participation of women in Afghanistan's socio-economic sectors. The organization collaborates directly with local communities to shift societal attitudes towards women.

Its vision is to achieve "Equal participation of women and men in all sectors of the country."
