Job Description:
Specific Responsibilities:
Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.
Conduct proper physical examinations of patients including pelvic and breast examinations
Perform routine office-based obstetric and gynecological procedures including IUDs, etc.
Establish and follow standards of care for common women’s health-related issues and illnesses, especially antenatal and postnatal care, and provide family planning
Educate patients and deliver health education sessions for women as and when needed
Monitor and ensure compliance with clinical evidence-based guidelines while treating patients all the time
Determine and implement appropriate types and courses of treatment
Perform standard ultrasound examinations and produce related reports
Perform and interpret various diagnostic tests including STD tests.
Educate patients about disease prevention, detection (malignancies of reproductive organs), and reproductive health
Be able to work as a primary care doctor (general physician) as and when needed /dealing with a wide range of patients
Have the ability to develop positive rapport with patients and families to foster the physician/patient relationship
Eager to actively participate in continuing medical education program inside the clinic / delivers case presentations and raise medical discussions.
Take care of equipment assigned to in the clinic including Computer, desk, chair, statoscope and ensure their proper usage
Respect all rules and regulations of the AFGA.
Make all necessary efforts to stay updated with the emerging medical/Obstetric knowledge and skills
Job Requirements:
Having a Bachelor's Degree in the Medical field (Gynecologist) from a recognized medical university and passing exit exams if applicable.
At least five years working experience at the obstetric and gynecology.
Post graduate degree in Obstetric and gynecology is preferable.
Fluency of local language and moderate knowledge of English language.
Good Communication skills and ability to interact successfully with staff and clients.
