Job Description:

Work with the Field team to conduct the feasibility/ technical/ site surveys, prepare the bill of quantities, technical designs.

Ensuring that the budgeted costs for goods, work, and services are reasonable (reflect market rates) and that all costs have been accounted for.

Before finalizing sub projects, facilitating preparation of realistic operations, maintenance, and cost recovery plan (where necessary) and the selection of O&M committee within the community.

Ensuring adequate technical oversight, including assessing the impact of engineering interventions on habitats, is provided in site selection, survey and feasibility of the proposed sub projects before finalization of the proposals.

Providing technical assistance to skilled labor, monitoring from each stage of subproject during its implementation period. This includes support and oversight for the procurement and financial issues.

Ensuring that the implementation schedule, the quality of the procured materials in the site and other details of the subproject(s) are as per the Approved MRF and proposals.

Ensuring timely completion and proper functioning of all Projects. In case of subproject failure, communicate with Team Leader/Manager and office in providing a detailed explanation of causes in Specific format.

Facilitating and providing technical assistance for community-wide social audits to include all aspects of ACRP processes.

Develop program planning on engineering and constructions interventions considering the seasonality of the areas and prepare MRFs for relevant inputs/technical support in consultation with field team and procurement

Establish/rehabilitate the Greenhouses, water sheds and water resource management plans with proving technical assessment, BOQs and supervise the technical works of the constructions and rehabilitation works in the field

Lead in implementing other technical constructions and engineering infrastructures as per the project plan ensuring the quality of works.

01: technical support of the project:

 

Close coordination with CDC about the selection of project place from geological side.

Do the primary surveys for the project implementation.

prepare estimation and technical proposal for the sub project

Prepare the drawing details and technical design for the sub project.

Ensuring that the site plans, section, details, and all required maps are completed and prepared as per site condition. In this process, impact assessment of the project element on human and eco system to be considered.

 

 

02: implementation and monitoring :

 

Implementation of project in an eco-safe way, in the sites

Check of construction materials in the store before the implementation of project.

Ensuring that project work is ongoing with good quality

Providing technical assistance to skilled labor, monitoring from each stage of subproject during its implementation period.

Providing technical Advice to project workers in the site

Solving the technical problems of CDC during the implementation of sub project

Controlling the amounts of project.

Timely monitoring must be done with proper reporting and recommendations

 

03: preparing the documents/ reporting issue:

 

Reporting of surveyed project to Line Manager and district coordinator.

Reporting the project progress which is under construction to Line Manager and district coordinator.

Solving the technical problems in the proposals before sending them for approval.

Sending of Proposals and drawing to project manager for taking of approval.

Action for the implementation of the project.

Reporting to the line manager and district coordinator about the completed project.

Submit the project to CDC after finishing construction activates.

Provide effective advice to CDC for the protection of project.

Take of promise from CDC about the protection of project.

 

 

04: project documentation/filling:

 

Prepare the contract document for CDC.

Prepare price list of the construction material for procurement phase.

Do bidding for procurement of construction materials for the project.

Preparing document for received materials from supplier and consign to CDC.

Organizing the documents in the file for the long time

 

Job Requirements:

Education & Training:

 

Minimum bachelor’s degree Civil Engineering from Engineering faculty or other related technical affairs

Knowledge about the interlinkages of engineering and sustainable eco systems, estimation, drawing, proposal writing, design and survey

Experience:

 

At least 5 years’ experience of technical/engineering/construction project design, implementation and technical quality

Technical Skills :

 

Technical designing of greenhouse, water shed and water resource management plant

Technical survey, technical designing, drawing/lay outing and developing BOQs

Technical project planning and project management with quality

Knowledge of auto cad, primavera, Etabs and civil 3D

Knowledge of GPS, total station and level Machine
