Job Responsibilities
Key Functions:
Coordination, Delivery, and Performance:
- Assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing control procedures.
- Contribute to technical reports, design documentation, and operational guidelines.
- Provide feedback on design reviews, quality control, and safety measures.
- Support construction planning and site activities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Oversee project implementation according to mechanical design specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance to meet quality, timeline, and budget goals.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress and assist in project handover and closure.
Knowledge Building and Sharing:
- Engage with engineering communities to share knowledge and best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers on technical matters.

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with two years of experience (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience:
- At least two years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related software is essential.
- Familiarity with UNOPS/UN protocols is a plus.
Languages:
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Pashto and Dari is an asset.
