Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the CCCM Program Coordinator and direct supervision of the Community Resource Center (CRC) Team Leader, the successful candidate will assist in implementing referral pathways within IOM CCCM programs. This role will support the IOM CCCM unit within Community Resource Centers and include the following responsibilities:
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing referral pathways within the CRC coverage area.
- Participate in regular field visits with the CRC teams in the designated area.
- Help identify sources of information and trends related to CRC coordination, including knowledge networks and communities of practice.
- Participate in field missions when necessary.
- Support referral-related activities, including service organization, mapping services, and referring individuals at the CRC.
- Maintain regular contact with service providers and update service mappings.
- Ensure that reliable information is collected to update the profile of referred cases.
- Contribute to mapping relevant government, humanitarian, recovery, and stabilization services in the CRC coverage area.
- Participate in cluster coordination forums at the governorate level.
- Ensure timely and regular referrals (daily) of cases, maintaining detailed records of all referred cases and actions taken using CRC referral tracking tools.
- Regularly follow up on referred cases to track their status and ensure beneficiaries have accessed the required services.
- Suggest improvements to follow-up tools and assessment forms as necessary.
- Report any challenges, potential solutions, and lessons learned to improve the environment for beneficiaries and CRC team dynamics, processes, and practices.
- Oversee internal referrals between teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in political or social sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or a related field, with two years of relevant experience; or
- A high school diploma with four years of relevant experience.
Experience:
- Knowledge of Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) and protection (advantageous).
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage respectfully with community members, partners, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the local area and surroundings (preferred).
- Experience with participatory fieldwork, methodologies, and monitoring.
- Experience liaising with governmental authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, and other institutions.
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups.
- Prior experience with international humanitarian organizations or government/non-government institutions in a multicultural environment is an advantage.

Languages:
- Fluency in English (oral and written) is required.
- Working knowledge of Pashto or Dari is required.
- Fluency in other national languages is a plus.
