Job Description:

Community Mobilizers will assist the ESNFI Project Officers in various tasks, including assessments, beneficiary selection, on-site delivery, market evaluations, community mobilization, and distributing cash for heating, winter clothing, and blankets.

  • Plan and execute ESNFI needs assessment surveys and beneficiary screening and selection for project activities, technical training, and inputs.
  • Identify vulnerable families, particularly women-headed households, who are eligible for livestock and agriculture training based on established selection criteria.
  • Support the Project Coordinator and Project Officer in conducting ongoing monitoring of project activities through regular visits to field sites, ensuring minimum standards for ESNFI and progress toward targets.
  • Maintain beneficiary data and documentation according to program management standards, ensuring data confidentiality.
  • Conduct market assessments to verify market functionality in the target area.
  • Hold meetings with community or village elders, Malaks, local authorities, and other stakeholders at the field level.
  • Facilitate the participation of beneficiaries and communities, especially those most vulnerable or at risk, in all stages of the project cycle when appropriate.
  • Coordinate material loading, transportation, and delivery with logistics and warehouse assistants.
  • Prepare and submit weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports to the Project Officer.

Job Requirements:

  • Hold a 12th-grade certificate or higher (a university degree in agriculture, rural development, or business administration is preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in community mobilization, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Proficient in written and spoken Pashto.
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in implementing community-based projects.
  • Experience working with national or international organizations.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Sensitive to cultural and conflict issues.
