Job Details:

The Enumerator plays a pivotal role in the Mother Child Cash Transfer (MCCT) project's execution in Samangan Province, particularly in Aybak and Ruy-e-Duab districts. The MCCT initiative aims to alleviate poverty-related challenges faced by pregnant and lactating women, as well as children under two, through the provision of unconditional cash transfers, behavior change programs, and facilitating access to healthcare services.



Conduct household surveys and interviews to identify eligible beneficiaries in target areas.

Utilize digital data collection tools such as Kobo forms and the UNICEF PMU's inform platform for efficient and accurate household registration.

Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive data during data collection.

Engage with local communities to elucidate the objectives of the MCCT project and foster trust.

Collaborate with community leaders and local organizations to ensure smooth project implementation.

Address concerns or queries raised by community members regarding the project.

Verify households' eligibility for cash transfers based on predefined criteria.

Double-check information to ensure the accuracy and authenticity of beneficiary identification.

Work with the project management team to resolve discrepancies or issues.

Provide regular updates on data collection progress to the project management team.

Prepare and submit detailed reports on field activities, challenges, and successes to the project manager/supervisor.

Support and mentor newly recruited enumerators to ensure a cohesive and skilled field team.

Ensure data collection activities are conducted respectfully and without discrimination.



Minimum bachelor’s degree; preference given to candidates with relevant field experience.

Familiarity with digital data collection tools and technology.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Understanding of the cultural context and social dynamics in Samangan Province is advantageous.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
