About Us

War Child is a charity dedicated to supporting children impacted by war. We assist children who face a combination of poverty, exclusion, and insecurity due to conflict. This includes street children, child-headed households, those recruited into armed groups, and children in detention. Our mission is to protect these children, provide education, and advocate for their rights in some of the most conflict-ridden regions. We envision a world where children’s lives are no longer shattered by war—a goal achievable through the combined efforts of children, communities, leaders, organizations like War Child, governments, and key decision-makers.
