MSI Reproductive Choices Afghanistan (MSIA)
About Us

MSI Reproductive Choices Afghanistan (MSIA) is part of MSI, an international non-profit and NGO based in London, UK. Established in Afghanistan in August 2002, MSIA is registered with the Afghan government and operates with the mission of improving Afghan women’s health and well-being, empowering them to build strong, healthy families. Our vision is to be the preferred health care provider for Afghan women, offering high-quality, client-centered services by women, for women.

Our focus is on reducing maternal mortality by providing sustainable, quality maternal and child health (MCH) and reproductive health (RH) services and information across 17 Afghan provinces, including Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Jawzjan, Faryab, Nangarhar, Helmand, Kandahar, Baghlan, Kunduz, Badakhshan, Takhar, Samangan, Kapisa, Khost, Paktia, and Daikundi, in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).

MSIA improves women's health outcomes in these areas by delivering essential reproductive and maternal health services through a variety of channels, such as health centers, outreach initiatives, private sector partnerships, and MS Ladies (Family Health Houses).
