About Us

The Afghan Youth Services Organization (AYSO) is a national Afghan NGO established in 2006 and registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under registration number 397. Since its inception, AYSO has developed and successfully implemented various projects across multiple sectors, including health, education, food security, capacity building, gender-based violence prevention and response, peace and justice initiatives, research and surveys, and human rights awareness. The organization has received technical and financial support from several UN agencies, such as UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, WFP, and WHO. Additionally, AYSO has partnered with government ministries and departments and collaborated with international and national organizations like AAH/USAID, FHI, BARC, AADA, and HEWAD to implement its projects.
