About Us

Relief Humanitarian and Development Organization (RHDO) is an independent, nonprofit, non-religious, non-political, and non-military organization dedicated to advancing Afghanistan's development. Established in February 2014, RHDO is registered with the Ministry of Economics (No. 3121), the Ministry of Public Health (No. 504), and the Ministry of Women’s Affairs (No. 751). The organization aims to contribute to Afghanistan's growth by delivering humanitarian and developmental services in public health, as well as training and capacity building in healthcare skills. RHDO pursues its mission through practical, context-specific, and technically sound strategies, which include: (1) implementing community development programs, (2) delivering primary and secondary health services according to Ministry of Public Health standards, and (3) enhancing the skills and capacities of Afghan citizens and healthcare professionals.
