About Us

War Child's flagship program in Afghanistan is making a significant social impact on vulnerable children, women, and their families through its Justice, Education, and Opportunity initiatives, with a focus on child protection and gender across all its activities. The Afghanistan Country Program is currently expanding, thanks to newly secured long-term funding for projects in eight provinces: Kabul, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Balkh, Kundoz, Takhar, Logar, and Badakhshan, with plans to extend to additional provinces in the future.
