About Us

World Vision International is a non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian organization operating in over 100 countries worldwide. It is registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under registration number 115 and has been active in the remote and underdeveloped regions of Ghor, Badghis, Faryab, and Herat Provinces for more than two decades. Over this time, World Vision Afghanistan (WVA) has focused on meeting the needs of children, their families, and communities in areas such as health and nutrition, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), food security and livelihoods, education, and child protection.
