About Us

Medair, an international humanitarian organization founded in 1988, has been active in Afghanistan since 1996, focusing on health, water and sanitation, and livelihoods, with notable reconstruction efforts in remote areas. Current projects include water and sanitation, food security, and disaster risk reduction.

As part of its integrated emergency response, Medair aims to address severe food insecurity, malnutrition, and health issues in the Tirinkot district. The project seeks to enhance WASH services by improving water supply infrastructure and promoting better hygiene practices, ultimately benefiting vulnerable families.
