About Us

Search is an international non-profit organization focused on resolving conflicts peacefully. With offices in Washington, DC, and Brussels, Belgium, Search aims to change how people, organizations, and even nations handle conflict—steering away from harmful approaches and encouraging cooperative, solution-focused methods. The organization is powered by over 900 staff members and carries out projects in more than 37 countries around the world. In mid-2019, Search expanded its efforts by opening an office in Afghanistan and officially registering as an International NGO with the Afghan government, marking a new chapter in its mission to support peacebuilding in the region.
