About Us

The Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD) is a dedicated non-profit organization that was founded in 2011 by a passionate group of community development and research specialists. Our mission is to contribute to the growth and progress of Afghanistan as an active member of the global community. We focus on empowering local communities by building their capacities, gathering evidence in various fields, and promoting best practices based on our findings. Through our grassroots projects, we aim to make a real difference in people's lives. With support from multiple donors, ORCD implements health, agriculture, and community development programs across several provinces, working closely with local communities to foster positive change.
