About Us

International Medical Corps is a worldwide humanitarian nonprofit committed to preserving lives and alleviating distress by providing healthcare training and implementing relief and development initiatives.

Founded in 1984 by volunteer physicians and nurses, International Medical Corps operates as a private, voluntary, nonpolitical, and nonsectarian organization. Its objective is to enhance the quality of life by engaging in health interventions and associated initiatives that enhance local capabilities globally. Through the provision of training and healthcare services to local communities, along with medical aid to high-risk populations, International Medical Corps actively contributes to the restoration of healthcare systems in crisis and supports their transition towards self-sufficiency.
